Learn about the Pediatrics Association, Muzaffarnagar and our mission
The IAP Muzaffarnagar Branch is a registered unit of the Central Indian Academy of Pediatrics, functioning under the name Pediatric Association, Muzaffarnagar, and duly registered under the Societies Act of Uttar Pradesh. It is one of the oldest IAP branches in the state, with a legacy rooted in academic rigor, professional integrity, and service to child health. Over the years, the branch has grown steadily while preserving the foundational values of the Academy - continuous learning, ethical practice, and collective progress.
The branch comprises more than 30 active members, representing a healthy blend of senior pediatricians and young, dynamic clinicians. This intergenerational mix fosters mentorship, innovation, and academic continuity. Members actively participate in monthly Continuing Medical Education (CME) programs and remain deeply engaged in academic discussions, case deliberations, and evidence-based pediatric practice, making the branch vibrant and intellectually alive.
IAP Muzaffarnagar Branch has a strong track record of organizing high-quality academic and skill-based programs. Notably, the branch successfully organized IAP-PED ENDO CON 2024 in February 2024. In addition, the branch regularly conducts certified training programs including Basic Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Advanced NRP, and American Heart Association-accredited ACLS and BLS courses.
